We booked our trip to Jamaica.
I’ve been there a few times throughout growing up. I’ve never met more accepting, welcoming people and whether its tourism induced or not, I love their culture and way of life.
My dad has been many, many more times than me. He always leaves the resort to go on a jog and comes back having made a new Jamaican friend. By the end of the trip we end up at their house getting a real-ass-Jamaican experience (even though my moms like “WHERE THE FUCK AM I”).
I am far older than I was last time since I went. I can not wait to go off and do things with my dad he probably wouldnt have taken me to do when I was younger, know what I mean?
I can not wait to return to my favorite island. August. Jamaica, irie.
